Welcome to Golden Arm Games!

We are a group of gamers dedicated to bringing you games with fun and easy to understand rules along with interesting settings.

We currently have four games in various stages of productions. The first is the miniatures game, Chop Socky, which has a planned release of late 2007. Following that begins development of the horror themed wrestling card game, Wrestlevania. In the way off future, there's an abstract mecha card game as well as an RPG.

Updates:

August 13th, 2007:

Congratulations to Kira McGinty for winning the Chop Socky 2007 Storyline Championship. Kira used the Masters of the Tranquil Mind's devastating Elemental Powers to devastate the Anarchists, racking up huge victory points. She then held off a desperate New Order attack who were unfortunately placed in the unfortunately circumstance of dealing with the Masters of the Tranquil Mind while also dealing with an Underworld threat. The storyline result of this championship will be posted shortly.

Meanwhile, congratulations to Greg Walek for winning the Chop Socky 2007 Grudge Match Challenge. He did this by defeating Ed Wang's Future robots, 2-1. The final match saw the Spinners' C-Flatt and his ally the Light Speed Spinner, use various Wood techniques to get themselves into the middle of the Future gang on the first round and devastate the robots with combined spin attacks. Unfortunately for Ed, the dice didn't fall in his favor and he failed to eliminate the two hero threat before the rest of the Street Spinners caught up and finished off the weakened robots.

A major step in the release of Chop Socky! Here's the cover art!!!

June 3rd, 2007:

Welcome to the new website! Chop Socky production is moving along smoothly. The Chop Socky core book is up to about 160 pages and growing. I'm anticipating just under 200 pages when finished. The actual rules are finished and written up with the exception of few fiddly bits. I'm just finishing up the setting and then including some cheat sheets in the back of the book. I'm anticipating a late 2007 release. Anyhoo, in the meantime, check out the great artwork done by the great people at Empty Room Studios. Scroll down to the leaders from each of the six Chop Socky factions!

I apologize about the lack of updates! I had to put Chop Socky on hold so that I didn't collapse from the stress of designing the game and getting married! Anyhoo, I'm back to writing and playtesting Chop Socky at full speed again!
